The internal leakage of plate heat exchanger refers to the leakage of two media in the heat exchange equipment from the high-pressure side to the low-pressure side for some reason. This leakage phenomenon is generally not easy to find in time. The primary causes of this leakage are plate perforation, crack and corrosion. The way to find this leakage is to often test the medium on the low-pressure side and distinguish it from the change of its composition.

The internal leakage of plate heat exchanger is the phenomenon that the medium at the high pressure position leaks to the low pressure position due to some reasons in the heat exchanger. If the internal leakage cannot be found in time, the plate will be perforated, cracked and corroded. The way to find this leakage is to often test the medium on the low-pressure side and distinguish it from the change of its composition.

The shutdown inspection method for the internal leakage of the plate heat exchanger is to disassemble the plate heat exchanger, remove the dust on the surface of the plate, wipe it dry and assemble the heat exchanger from the beginning. A hydrostatic test with a pressure of 0.2 ~ 0.3MPa is carried out on one side. After the water flows out from the other side, stop the experiment, open the heat exchanger and carefully observe the non pressure test side of the plate.

The wet plate is the plate with holes or cracks. At the scene, the method of light transmission and coloring can also be used to find out the waste plates. All waste plates and gaskets found shall be replaced and used after reassembly.
