Conditions for heat exchanger plates:

1. The heat transfer coefficient is high. Because its plate shape can form turbulence, it can provide high heat transfer efficiency.

2. The plate heat exchanger can reduce the cost because of its efficiency, low investment, simple installation and maintenance.

3. The structure is compact. For the same heat load, the heat exchange area required by the plate heat exchanger is only about 1 / 3 of that of the shell and tube heat exchanger.

4. Adhesive free gasket, which is fixed by pressed notch, has high compressive capacity and can be replaced quickly and simply.

5. It is not easy to scale and easy to maintain.

Six step replacement of plate heat exchanger

Six steps for replacing gasket of plate heat exchanger:

1. Remove the waste gasket. Note that there shall be no scratches in the gasket groove during disassembly.

2. Remove the residual glue in the gasket groove with acetone, butanone or other ketone solvents.

3. Wipe the gasket groove and gasket with clean cloth or cotton yarn.

4. Apply the adhesive evenly to the gasket groove.

5. Stick a clean new gasket on the plate.

6. The plates pasted with gaskets shall be placed in a flat, cool and ventilated place for natural drying before installation and use.
